Cleaning is different from rewriting
Many AI text cleaners paraphrase sentences. UnmarkAI takes a narrower approach: it removes supported hidden Unicode characters and normalizes long dashes. It does not humanize, summarize, or change the intended meaning.
Formatting the tool preserves
The cleaner retains a safe set of headings, paragraphs, lists, emphasis, links, quotations, code blocks, and table elements. Unsupported markup and risky attributes are discarded. Results can be copied as formatted or plain text.
